Printing

In addition to sending orders to physical screens Kitchen iQ can also print an order ticket based on a number of different rules that can be configured, printed order tickets can be useful when serving food or for areas where there is no availability of a physical screen.

Adding New Printer References

Follow these steps to add a new printer reference:

  1. Click Add

  2. Enter the following details, Name

  3. Click Save

Adding New Printing Rules

Follow these steps to add a new printer rule:

  1. Click Add

  2. Select the Station | Order Destinations (optional can be left at All) | Courses (optional can be left at All)

    One or more Order Destinations and Courses can be added to each printing rule
  3. Select the print basis

    • All Items are Active - will only print when all items are active

    • First Item is Active - will print a ticket when the first item is active, only 1 ticket will be printed, subsequent items that become active will not set any printing rules

      • Print Item Only - if selected only the individual item will be printed

    • Any Item is Active - will print a ticket each time an item becomes active

      • Print Item Only - if selected only the individual item will be printed

  4. Select the required printer reference | set the number of copies to print

  5. Click Save
